Why is sustainability important?
From both our own perspective and that of our customers, we believe that sustainability is a vital element of our offering. We try to reduce our carbon footprint by streamlining our delivery schedule and ensuring that we are as efficient as we can be with energy use and waste.
We are also proud to use Bagasse plates and fully recyclable packaging to ensure that we are not adding to general waste and that our products can be repurposed. We also ensure that any spare or unused food (that hasn't been delivered to customers) is not thrown away.
Protecting our Environment
As far as possible, we always try to use seasonal ingredients so as to reduce worldwide shipping miles. If we can buy locally then we will! We are continually looking at ways to further reduce our carbon footprint and to ensure that our customers also benefit from our actions.
